Matthew Rosenberg was born and raised in New York City, where as a child he was partially the inspiration for a slasher film his mom wrote. He has been to 48 of the United States, been knocked unconscious 4 times, jumped out a 3rd floor window on a dare, owns 2 life-size yodas, and believes he could drink 1 gallon of chocolate milk in an hour. His creator-owned comic works include WE CAN NEVER GO HOME (Black Mask), and 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK (Black Mask). He has also been paid money to write Uncanny X-Men, The Punisher, New Mutants, Hawkeye Freefall, Phoenix Resurrection, Amazing Spider-Man, Detective Comics, Grifter, Task Force Z, DC vs. Vampires, The Archies, and other stuff. He co-wrote an album with Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan. He is afraid of cats.
